The Classroom: A Foodie Class You Cannot Afford To Miss

Do you often miss those good old days spent in the classroom? I surely do and I assume everyone of us does. How about a twist in the story? If your classroom happens to be a hub of food? Then definitely the story turns to be more interesting for sure.
Let me take you through one such place today, The Classroom based in Sector 29 , Gurgaon, the haven of gastronomic outlets.
As the name says, the entire Gastropub is themed around a classroom setting. You have several sections like the Nursery, the KG, The Canteen, the Preschool etc. What more? You have the washrooms too filled with maths sums giving you the true vibes of a classroom. With school photographs and blackboards, every part of the interior happens to be reminiscent of the Classroom setting.
As I previously said, this “Classroom” has a innovative story to tell and here begins the foodie discussion. The menu is designed in the form of a single lined book and is divided in to interesting categories like The First Break(starters), The Lunch Break(main courses) etc. which again chimes the nostalgic classroom bells in your mind.We ordered the Veg and the Non veg platter and believe me they were more than enough to settle for our lunch. With a mix of items like chicken tandoori(grilled to perfection) seekh kebab, chicken malai tikka etc. On the Non-veg platter and Veg seekh kebab, paneer tikka, cheese balls etc. on the vegetarian serving, well, everything was cooked properly, minimum spiced, with the right balance of tastes.
With the “Desi Tadka” mocktail as our companion, a spiced lemonade, we had experienced an amazing luncheon session.
The Classes You Should Never Bunk in “The Classroom”
Sounds a bit odd! Isn’t it? Well, there are a huge number of ‘foodie’ classes which you shouldn’t bunk in The Classroom, but from my syllabus, I can quote two must classes that you cannot afford to miss.
Well, the Palak patta chaat is definitely one of them. Crisp fried palak leaves served with a tangy chutney makes you fall in love with Classroom. The other one is definitely the Chef special of the Day dessert. We happened to get the Death by chocolate, a sinful chocolate Lava cake served with scoops of fresh, rich, vanilla ice cream.
Important Notes to Take Down For The Classroom
Great portion sizes that fills your stomach to the brim as you leave the class. Averagely priced where an amount of 1000 for two is more than sufficient.
Freshly brewed in house beer available that gives you one more reason to be present in the Classroom more often. So set your weekend plans and get ready to be a part of the exciting curriculum of Gurgaon’s The Classroom.
Wow love the concept and the menu looks like a great mix of chaat and mughlai
